PLEX Co., Ltd. of Japan produces, and X-PLUS Co., Ltd. distributes, the soft vinyl model series 'Toho 30CM Series' featuring Toho tokusatsu monsters. They have announced the latest product, 'Godzilla (Godzilla The Ride: Great Clash),' based on the Seibu-en amusement park attraction 'Godzilla The Ride: Great Clash,' is scheduled for release in May 2026.
'Godzilla The Ride: Great Clash of the Kaiju' is an attraction launched in May 2021 at Japan's Seibu-en amusement park. It was jointly created by two major teams led by director Takashi Yamazaki, from Shirogumi Inc., and Shoichiro Tsuno, the legendary figure credited with revitalizing Universal Studios Japan. It combines exquisite 3DCG visuals with powerful sound and light effects, a dome-shaped screen, and dynamic seating, allowing audiences to experience an immersive kaiju battle. Following the critical acclaim for director Takashi Yamazaki's 'Godzilla Minus One,' Seibu-en also launched a new work in August 2025, 'Godzilla The Ride: Great Clash,' depicting a sea battle between Godzilla and the new Mechagodzilla, 'Type-0 Mecha-Beast G-BREAKER.'
The 'Toho 30cm Series Godzilla (Godzilla The Ride: Great Clash)' is produced in a powerful size, standing approximately 38 cm tall and measuring approximately 59 cm long. It not only captures a highly dynamic roaring pose but also meticulously sculpts features such as its extremely robust chest and lower body, its entire body's rock-like rough skin, and coral-like dorsal fins reminiscent of Heisei Godzilla. Inside the mouth, chaotic sharp teeth, moist mucous membranes, and a tongue are sculpted, giving the model an even more biological feel.
This product also simultaneously releases limited editions sold at GODZILLA STORE and Shonen RIC. The 'GODZILLA STORE Limited Edition' features a special paint application to recreate the pose of preparing to fire its heat ray, with gradient bright blue paint applied to the mouth and dorsal fins, giving it a glowing texture. The 'Shonen RIC Limited Edition,' on the other hand, directly incorporates LED light-up mechanisms within the mouth, dorsal fins, and tail. Powered by a USB cable, these parts can be illuminated to reproduce the pose of preparing to fire its heat ray.
