After a 13-year wait, Marlon Wayans is finally set to release the sixth installment in his iconic "Scary Movie" franchise this year. In a recent interview on the "Rap Attack" podcast, he surprisingly revealed that the first trailer for "Scary Movie 6" will debut next Friday as a theatrical exclusive before "Scream 7."

But "Scary Movie 6" is just the beginning. Wayans teased that the film's market reception will determine whether they can greenlight other franchise sequels.

Later in the "Rap Attack" interview, Wayans upped the ante, stating that if "Scary Movie 6" performs well at the box office, it could pave the way for sequels to two of his other early signature comedies: "White Chicks 2" and "Don't Be a Menace 2." He elaborated, "If 'Scary Movie 6' performs as well as we anticipate, then we'll capitalize on that momentum and move forward with 'White Chicks 2' and 'Don't Be a Menace 2.' We want to revisit our classic works, bring back some of our past box office hits. We already know how to do it."

"Scary Movie 6" is slated for a June 12 release in North America. If you're eager to see "White Chicks" and "Don't Be a Menace" make their comeback, then be sure to show your support for "Scary Movie 6."
