TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー) in Japan is set to release an interesting new everyday item this February from its 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' themed merchandise line: the 'Bottomless Trap Hole with Figure Dust Box' (tentative translation, 奈落の落とし穴 フィギュア付きダストボックス)! Let's take a look.
In the 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' card game, the Trap Card "Bottomless Trap Hole" is one of the classic "Trap Hole" series. It can be activated when your opponent Normal Summons, Flip Summons, or Special Summons a monster with 1500 or more ATK, destroying that monster and banishing it from the game.
This dust box, cleverly rendered in 3D to echo the effect of "Bottomless Trap Hole," stands approximately 20 cm tall. It not only features the green humanoid monster but also has a lid that perfectly captures the imagery of the card art. When throwing away trash, you'll naturally associate it with monsters exceeding 1500 ATK, and a thought like "Watch me take care of you! You stubborn trash!" will pop into your head. It's so much fun!
