From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, the popular die-cast toy 『Chogokin Damashii』 series has announced the latest product from the anime 《Combat Mecha Xabungle》, the 「GX-38X Walker Machine Set」, scheduled for release in August 2026.
The IRON GEAR-class land battleship appearing in the series is a special, cutting-edge battleship equipped with a transformation mechanism. Not only does it have the function to store numerous Walker Machines, but it can also transform into the largest Walker Machine in history, reaching a staggering height of 128 meters after transformation. Its sheer hand-to-hand combat capabilities can cause immense destruction, and it can also utilize the multiple cannons and missiles originally mounted on its hull for attacks.
The 「Chogokin Damashii GX-38X Walker Machine Set」 is an expansion accessory set designed to be played with the separately sold 「GX-38R IRON GEAR」 main unit. The product includes 18 Walker Machines scaled to match the IRON GEAR. Among these, 7 types of mecha, such as 「Burakkari」, are provided as partially painted, unassembled parts, with two units of each model included upon completion.
Meanwhile, the main mecha appearing in the experimental animation series 《BLUE GALE XABUNGLE》, such as 「Xabungle」, 「Walker Gallia」, 「Fake Xabungle」, and 「Xabungle Truck」, feature complete color painting. Furthermore, Xabungle and Walker Gallia can be equipped with new armaments that appeared in the experimental animation. Each mecha measures approximately 2-4 cm and can be placed on the IRON GEAR's deck or stored in its hangar.
