BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division in Japan has announced the latest product from its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series, "Gavan Infinity," based on the tokusatsu series "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity," scheduled for release in August 2026.
The hyper-dimensional hero saga "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is a remake based on some settings from the 1982 Toei tokusatsu series "Space Sheriff Gavan." The story is set across various Earths in the multiverse, where each universe has an organization dedicated to protecting cosmic peace, the "Galactic Federal Police," and a powerful "Gavan." The protagonist, Reiji Osugi, is the one who transforms into "Gavan Infinity." Possessing the unique ability to traverse dimensions, he can travel to different Earths in various universes on assignment, collaborating with the local Gavans and police to apprehend criminals and forging deep friendships.
The "S.H.Figuarts Gavan Infinity" is crafted with an articulated design, standing approximately 14.5 cm tall. It utilizes precise sculpting and transfer printing for the full body armor and various white patterns. Furthermore, it features luxurious metallic red and silver paintwork to create a full metallic texture and a red-silver gradient transition on the limbs, perfectly recreating Reiji Osugi's cool appearance after his "Jouchaku" transformation.
The entire figure leverages the articulation design technology cultivated over many years by the S.H.Figuarts series, featuring joint designs that minimize visible gaps while offering a wide range of motion, allowing for the recreation of transformation and combat poses from the series. Accessories include the "Gavarion Trigger," which serves as both a transformation item and a shooting weapon, replicating its left-right opening and the mechanism for detaching/attaching the Emotion Battery. The melee weapon, "Gavarion Blade," features a clear part for its blade and recreates the mechanism for detaching/attaching the "Galactic Federal Police Handbook." It also includes a dedicated part to recreate the scene of presenting the police handbook.
