After a 13-year hiatus, the beloved parody comedy franchise "Scary Movie" is making a triumphant return this summer with its long-awaited sixth installment, and the first trailer has just been unveiled.
The Wayans Brothers are back to pen the script for this installment. Keenen Ivory Wayans, who directed and co-wrote the first two films, returns alongside younger brothers Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, who starred in and co-wrote the original two entries. Rick Alvarez, a frequent collaborator with the Wayans on films like the "A Haunted House" series and "Fifty Shades of Black," also joins the writing team.
