Two months ago, renowned entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider reported on his paid blog The InSneider that Canadian actress Maisy Stella (pictured left), known for "Nashville," was eyed for a role in Amazon Prime Video's upcoming live-action series adaptation of the video game "Life Is Strange." Today, Variety exclusively confirmed the casting.
Variety also reported that joining Stella is newcomer Tatum Grace Hopkins (pictured right), who will portray the series' two main protagonists, Max and Chloe, respectively.

The "Life Is Strange" series is helmed by Charlie Covell, co-writer of the Netflix series "The End of the F***ing World," with Margot Robbie's co-founded production company LuckyChap also involved in the production.
The official synopsis reads: Photography student Max discovers she can rewind time when saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe. As they struggle to master this new ability, the two also become entangled in investigating a classmate's mysterious disappearance and uncovering the town's hidden dark side. Ultimately, they will face a difficult, life-altering choice that will forever impact their lives.
