The 'TOYRISE' series of robot-themed finished toys, launched by T-SPARK, a high-end toy brand under Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, has announced its latest product from "Genesis Climber Mospeada ANOTHER GENESIS", the "LEGIOSS ALPHA", scheduled for release in late September 2026.
"Genesis Climber Mospeada ANOTHER GENESIS" is a toy series developed to align with the TOYRISE series' design concept of "original play that stimulates the player's imagination." It features the collaboration of "Genesis Climber Mospeada" mechanical designer Shinji Aramaki and Tatsunoko Production animation studio. The appearing mechs continue the design style of the original LEGIOSS series, adopting new original settings specifically for toy adaptation, while also incorporating the rich playability offered by the TOYRISE series.
The newly released「AFC-01X α LEGIOSS ALPHA」is a drone operated by the special experimental deployment unit 'SKUNKs'. It belongs to the same series as the previously announced OMEGA and DELTA, but its cockpit section has been removed and replaced with an advanced tactical support system. Compared to manned units, it can achieve overwhelmingly superior mobility, reaction speed, and tactical precision.
The main body of the "TOYRISE LEGIOSS ALPHA" is modified from the LEGIOSS OMEGA, utilizing new molding colors, paint application, and decal printing to reproduce its characteristic black-toned finish. New parts are used to recreate the drone-specific head, which is equipped with numerous sensors. The toy boasts both a cool design and excellent articulation, and through a not-overly-complex complete transformation mechanism, it thoroughly reproduces the classic three-stage transformation: "Armo Fighter (Jet Mode)", "Armo Diver (Intermediate Mode)", and "Armo Soldier (Robot Mode)".
Weapon accessories include a "50mm Beam Cannon" of the same specifications as the OMEGA. The two "Synchro Accelerator Particle Cannons" mounted on the back are newly sculpted parts. The 11-tube micro-missile launchers located throughout the body can also open their hatches to reveal the internal warhead sculpts. Furthermore, the entire body features 38 hardpoints with 3mm specifications, allowing for free expansion of weaponry on the shoulders, limbs, wings, and other areas.
