The robot-themed finished toy series "TOYRISE", launched by T-SPARK, the high-end toy brand under Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, has announced its latest product, "Gaogaigar", from the anime "The King of Braves Gaogaigar", scheduled for release in late September 2026.
Gaogaigar is the strongest mechanical lifeform formed by the fusion of cyborg protagonist Guy Shishioh and the space mechanical lion Galeon, transforming into GaiGar, and then combining with three Gaomachines developed by Earth's GGG Mobile Unit: Stealth Gao (ステルスガオー), Liner Gao (ライナーガオー), and Drill Gao (ドリルガオー). Its left and right hands are equipped with attack energy and defense energy respectively, and by combining these offensive and defensive powers, it can unleash the highly destructive special move "Hell and Heaven".
"TOYRISE Gaogaigar" is a transforming and combining toy that simultaneously includes four machines: Galeon, Stealth Gao (ステルスガオー), Liner Gao (ライナーガオー), and Drill Gao (ドリルガオー). Continuing the design approach of the previous two works, Genesic Gaogaigar and Gaofighgar, it achieves a complete transformation and combination mechanism with no leftover parts. It also includes replacement Voltic Engine parts for "Stealth Gao II (ステルスガオーⅡ)", allowing for the recreation of the "Star Gaogaigar" form, designed for space combat.
The Galeon main body is based on a modified version of the previous Genesic release, with some styling adjustments. Through a complete transformation mechanism that requires no part swapping, it can recreate its robot form, "GaiGar", with a newly sculpted head for GaiGar. Both forms feature flexible articulation, and in GaiGar form, it can reproduce the armed combinations with Stealth Gao (ステルスガオー), Liner Gao (ライナーガオー), and Drill Gao (ドリルガオー) as depicted in the series.
The Liner Gao (ライナーガオー) features wheels on its underside for locomotion, and the drills of the Drill Gao (ドリルガオー) have a rotating mechanism. The Stealth Gao (ステルスガオー) can not only connect with Liner Gao (ライナーガオー) to form an aerial transport mode, but by replacing the GGG emblem on its wings and the Voltic Engine parts, it can also recreate "Stealth Gao II (ステルスガオーⅡ)".
Thanks to the complete transformation and combination mechanism with no part swapping, the four machines can combine into "Gaogaigar" or "Star Gaogaigar", standing approximately 18 cm tall. It can be equipped with the Dividing Driver and the Gatling Driver, and its hands can also recreate the clenched fist pose for unleashing the special move "Hell and Heaven", allowing for various battle scenes. Furthermore, due to the identical combination specifications, it can link with TOYRISE Genesic Gaogaigar and Gaofighgar, allowing for free swapping of combined machines or armaments.
