Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Gashapon brand GASHAPON, based in Japan, has announced the latest product from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" for its 'MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE' series of heavy-duty X ensemble Gashapon toys, which are characterized by common connection points and infinite customization. The product, "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE ~Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX~", is scheduled for release in late July 2026. This item is an exclusive product available through the official online channel GASHAPON ONLINE.
The story of "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is set in Universal Century 0085, after the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War. Its unique parallel universe setting quickly sparked discussion after its broadcast. The protagonist, Yoha Amate, is a high school girl living a peaceful daily life in a space colony. Feeling a sense of unreality, she one day encounters Nean, a war refugee girl, and Shuji Ito, a mysterious boy piloting a red Gundam. She also accidentally becomes the pilot of the mobile suit "GQuuuuuuX" and gets caught up in the illegal MS dueling competition "Battle Group Showdown". Since then, Yoha has adopted the alias "Machu" and dedicates herself to intense daily battles.
Among the 5 types of items available in this release, only the two main mobile suits that run through the entire series are included: GQuuuuuuX (Endymion Device Awakened) and Red Gundam. GQuuuuuuX is modified from the standard specifications included in the 29th release, utilizing numerous new sculpted parts to recreate the deployed Endymion Devices on its limbs and the exposed internal core of its head. The Red Gundam is a recolored version of the White Gundam from the 30th release, and comes with a Zeon military-spec beam rifle and shield.
The other three types include a rich array of weapon accessories used by both mobile suits. "MS Weapon Set A" includes a replacement head part for GQuuuuuuX when its OMEGA psychowave conductor is not activated. "MS Weapon Set B" includes the mace used by the Red Gundam. "MS Weapon Set C" includes two beam sabers for the Red Gundam, a clear version beam saber for GQuuuuuuX, and the Ryunosuke Heat Axe. The 6 unmanned attack drones carried by the Red Gundam are evenly distributed among the three sets.
