Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company has announced the latest product from Cygames' super popular multimedia project "Uma Musume Pretty Derby," the "Tamamo Cross 1/7 Scale Figure," scheduled for release in January 2027.
The Uma Musume "Tamamo Cross," who plays a major role in the spin-off manga "Uma Musume Cinderella Gray," is based on the real-life racehorse of the same name from 1980s Japan. She was the first racehorse in Japanese history to win both the Spring and Autumn Tenno Sho. Along with Oguri Cap, who closely followed her, she broke the stereotype that gray horses couldn't run fast. In the story, she is one of protagonist Oguri Cap's greatest rivals. Despite her small stature and modest appetite, she possesses immense explosive power and spirit. After considering Oguri Cap her rival, she went on a six-race winning streak, including major races like the Spring Tenno Sho. And in the Autumn Tenno Sho, she awakened to the "Domain," a realm only achievable by Uma Musume capable of creating an era. Her lightning-fast appearance earned her the moniker "White Lightning."
The "Tamamo Cross 1/7 Scale Figure" is sculpted in a dynamic, ready-for-action pose. With a height of approximately 21 cm, placing her next to the Oguri Cap from the same series clearly highlights Tamamo Cross's petite and slender physique. The overall sculpting meticulously captures her firm yet delicate waistline and leg contours. Her bold stance, combined with a dazzling smile, showcases her abundant confidence and fighting spirit, embodying both strength and cuteness. The base part features the same design as Oguri Cap's, combining transparent material with aurora-like gradient colors, and is engraved with her English name and a lightning bolt motif.
