Released by Japan's MaxFactory toy company, the "PLAMAX" series, a popular model kit brand with a rich variety of themes, will launch the second collaborative product, "PLAMAX Gale Hound Guyver 03" model kit. This collaboration is between modeler NAOKI's original robot model project "Titanomachia" and the popular series "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor". The suggested retail price is 9,900 Japanese Yen, and it is scheduled for release in January 2027.
The manga series "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor (強殖装甲ガイバー)" created by Japanese manga artist Yoshiki Takaya, began serialization in "Monthly Shonen Captain" in 1985. Due to multiple interruptions, its serialization has continued for over thirty years without reaching its conclusion. In the story, Guyver refers to the "Bio-Boosted Form" that humans transform into after using the Bio-Booster Armor unit. The Bio-Booster Armor was originally standard equipment for the Creators, but when humans don it, they can unleash hundreds of times more combat power and break free from the Creators' mental control.
Modeler NAOKI, who serves as the original creator, planner, world-setting designer, mechanical/character designer, and overall producer for the original robot model project "Titanomachia," has combined it with the world of "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor," giving birth to Gale Hound in a new form! The second product, the "PLAMAX Gale Hound Guyver 03" kit, is composed of multiple pre-colored parts. Once assembled, it stands approximately 17 cm tall, recreating Guyver's iconic weapon, the "Mega Smasher" (chest particle cannon) mechanism. It also incorporates design elements of Guyver III throughout its body, reproducing the sharp armor styling and high-density details, and includes original water-slide decals. In terms of accessories, in addition to interchangeable hand parts, it also features two distinctive high-frequency swords, allowing for cool battle poses!
