From Japanese figure manufacturer Max Factory's popular action figure series "figma," following releases such as "Guyver" and "Guyver Gigantic," comes the latest "figma Gigantic Dark," once again based on "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor"! Priced at 21,800 JPY, with an estimated release in December 2026.
The manga series "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor" (強殖装甲ガイバー) by Japanese manga artist Yoshiki Takaya began serialization in "Monthly Shonen Captain" in 1985. Due to multiple hiatuses, it has been serialized for over thirty years and has yet to reach its conclusion. In the story, Guyver refers to the "Bio-Boosted Form" that humans transform into after using the Bio-Booster Armor unit. After failing in battle against the Twelve Zoalords, the control medal was seized by Agito Makishima, who then created the Gigantic Dark.
The "figma Gigantic Dark" action figure faithfully recreates Guyver III, who has gained new power, standing approximately 22 cm tall. The sculpt meticulously captures the majestic armor details, including characteristic textures, the intricate head, and prominent horns. The green orbs on the shoulders and joints utilize clear parts, allowing a subtle glimpse of the internal Gravity Control Orb! Accessories include "High-Frequency Swords," "Chest Particle Cannon recreation parts," and transparent red "Gravity Ram" parts. Combined with interchangeable hand parts, you can enjoy various battle poses!
