Japanese company ACRO, which collaborates with renowned sculptors in the industry to create numerous exquisite kaiju figures, is proud to present the latest addition to its captivating 「KAIJU REMIX SERIES (KRS)」. In collaboration with the genius sculptor Takayuki Takeya, and following the 「Miclas」 from the Ultraman series, they have once again announced the latest product in the series: 「KRS × TAKEYA Miclas EX version」 soft vinyl figure. It has a reference price of 27,500 JPY and is scheduled for release in June 2026.
The 「KRS × TAKEYA」 series, which commercializes Takayuki Takeya-sensei's sculptural designs, this time re-releases the 「KRS × TAKEYA Miclas EX version」 soft vinyl figure. With prototype production by sculptor Sagata Kick, the figure stands approximately 30 cm tall. It infuses the capsule monster Miclas with Takeya-sensei's meticulous design style, featuring a heavy body, large and curved horns on its head, substantial fleshy texture sculpted with drooping lines, and details like wrinkles formed by bearing weight, all conveying an extremely biological and captivating charm!
This version is based on the painted sample displayed by Takayuki Takeya in Sculptors Lab 04, with an overall more subdued and dark appearance. Metallic textures have been added to the rigid limbs and horn tips to enhance its sense of power. Utilizing techniques that emphasize the beauty of the mold, the figure ultimately presents an effect that is both endearing and incredibly imposing!
