Following Gavan Unlimited, the popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts' from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has once again announced the commercialization of "Gavan Bushido" from the tokusatsu series 'Super Space Sheriff Gavan Unlimited'. The release date is yet to be determined.
The hyper-dimensional hero saga 'Super Space Sheriff Gavan Unlimited' is a remake based on some settings from the 1982 Toei tokusatsu 'Space Sheriff Gavan'. The story is set across various Earths in the multiverse, where each universe has an organization dedicated to protecting cosmic peace, the "Galactic Federal Police", and a powerful "Gavan". The silver Gavan, 'Gavan Bushido', is transformed by Setsuna Aikokuin from the multi-Earth Λ8018. He is the captain of the special forces unit of the Galactic Federal Police's Public Order Maintenance Headquarters, an android created for warfare, a warrior skilled in dual-wielding, possessing the ability to automatically heal wounds, and has existed for thousands of years.
Currently, prototype images for "S.H.Figuarts Gavan Bushido" have been released, showcasing numerous new parts to recreate distinct head, chest, shoulder, waist, and other designs different from Gavan Unlimited. The entire armor is finished with luxurious metallic silver and metallic blue paintwork to achieve a metallic texture, with a silver-blue gradient transition on the limbs. The weapon accessories currently revealed are two "Gavarion Blades", faithfully reproducing his signature dual-wielding combat style.
