Good Smile Company's Nendoroid Doll line, known for its chibi proportions and real fabric outfits, has announced an exciting new release from the popular anime "My Dress-Up Darling": the "Marin Kitagawa: Casual Clothes Ver." This highly anticipated figure will retail for 10,000 JPY and is slated for an October 2026 release!

"My Dress-Up Darling" is a manga series by Shinichi Fukuda, which began serialization in "Young Gangan" in 2018. It was adapted into a TV anime by CloverWorks in 2022. The heartwarming story follows Wakana Gojo, a high school student who inherited a passion for making Hina dolls from his grandfather. Through a twist of fate, he begins making cosplay outfits for his classmate, Marin Kitagawa, an avid cosplayer.

The Nendoroid Doll "Marin Kitagawa: Casual Clothes Ver." stands approximately 14 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Marin's memorable look from the second episode of the first anime season, when she visits the Gojo household for measurements. Her signature hairstyle carries over from the previous Nendoroid release, and the doll comes with an adorable smiling face plate. The meticulously crafted outfit and accessories include a plaid shirt made from real fabric, denim hot pants with a belt, a black cap, white canvas shoes with magnetic soles for enhanced stability, a bracelet, a necklace, and a choker. Two sets of interchangeable hands are also included. This release perfectly captures her casual attire in Nendoroid Doll's signature chibi proportions, allowing fans to recreate various dynamic poses from the series with the dedicated stand. The only minor disappointment is the absence of her iconic yellow floral bikini underneath the casual wear!
