Howshouse Mega Man X7 Glide Armor 3D Printed Kit: Painting, Production, and Sharing (WF2026W)

As a cherished childhood memory, whenever a new Mega Man kit is released, I can't resist the urge to build it. Currently, it's about one project per year. This particular kit was a 3D printed set from HOW HOUSE, designed to be compatible with commercially available joints, achieving an articulation strength comparable to that of a pre-assembled model kit. The printing material also shows significant improvement, with common issues like deformation and layer lines greatly reduced. For painting, due to my personal requirement for smooth surfaces on mechanical objects, I hand-sanded it to 1000 grit, just like my previous projects. With accumulated experience, the painting incorporates different textural variations for each color: sky blue uses a flat finish, metallic blue is painted with a satin texture, gold has a glossy surface, dark gray is matte, and the white armor parts use a glossy white with a polarizing effect, creating different color shifts depending on the viewing angle. The skin tone uses multiple color shades to create depth. Transparent parts were also sanded to 1000 grit and clear coated to enhance transparency, with silver sprayed on the inside of workable areas to increase reflective brightness. This was a long-awaited Mega Man articulated model project, and I hope everyone enjoys it~

P.S. Posing frequently caused paint scratches, hence fewer action shots in the photos.
