Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy brand's popular "Waiting (Machibouke)" series will launch its latest product based on the game "Metal Gear Solid": the 'Waiting Metal Gear' gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, with a total of 4 types, scheduled to be released in late March 2026.
Maintaining the consistent style of the "Waiting Series," which allows characters to express a sense of longing and subtle melancholy, this 'Waiting Metal Gear' gashapon collection includes: METAL GEAR REX (MGS1), METAL GEAR RAY (MGS2), Solid Snake (MGS1), and Cardboard Box (MGS2). Adorably recreated in gashapon mini-sizes, in addition to giving the metal equipment a subtle sense of helplessness, it also features the classic cardboard box design, recreating the stealth action of using a cardboard box for cover!
