The renowned American toy website Big Bad Toy Store (BBTS) announced yesterday (20th) on its official Instagram the opening of pre-orders for the "Infinity Gauntlet Collector's Edition" prop replica, launched by the famous New York jeweler East Continental Gems. The reference price is US$16,129.99, with an estimated shipping date of May 2026!
As early as 2022, ECG received an invitation from Marvel to create an Infinity Gauntlet priced at US$25 million (approximately NT$800 million / JPY3.9 billion). This ultimate, virtually unsurpassed masterpiece was adorned with a total of 150 carats of six gemstones: emeralds, Madagascar sapphires, natural Mozambique rubies, spessartite garnets, rectangular yellow diamonds, and rare orange gemstones, stunning all fans!
This time, surprisingly listed on BBTS, is the previously released Collector's Edition with smaller gemstones, specifically unit number 198 out of a global limited edition of 200. Standing approximately 22.8 cm (9 inches) tall, it is exquisitely sculpted to faithfully recreate movie details. The gauntlet body is handcrafted from solid brass and inlaid with six genuine natural gemstones totaling 3.18 carats: Ruby (Reality Stone), Emerald (Time Stone), Sapphire (Space Stone), Spessartite Garnet (Soul Stone), Yellow Diamond (Mind Stone), and Amethyst (Power Stone). Although the gemstones appear slightly smaller on the gauntlet, it is still quite stunning!
The extravagant price of approximately NT$510,000 (JPY2.5 million) sparked considerable discussion in the community after its listing. Even the non-refundable deposit reached an astonishing US$4,032.50 (approximately NT$129,000 / JPY640,000). While everyone was still marveling at this extravagant collectible, the gauntlet sold out within hours of its listing! Indeed, poverty truly limits one's imagination!
