The latest generation of the competitive toy "Beyblade," "BEYBLADE X," released by Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, has launched a collaboration with the perennially collaborative "Neon Genesis Evangelion"! They are releasing their first product: the "Neon Genesis Evangelion Beyblade Set," with a suggested retail price of 7,500 JPY. It is currently available for limited pre-order at TAKARA TOMY MALL and EVANGELION STORE, with an estimated release in late August 2026!
This "Neon Genesis Evangelion Beyblade Set" includes three Beyblades designed after Unit-01, Unit-00, and Unit-02. In addition to color schemes matching the EVAs, the dazzling stickers, infused with Beyblade style, further enhance their imposing presence! The performance of the three Beyblades is also designed according to the characteristics of their original mecha: Unit-01 specializes in attack power, Unit-00 can absorb impact and offers durable defense, while Unit-02 features unique "Combo" and "Flow" dual spin-mode switching, replicating its combat style from the series!
The set also includes two long string launchers, printed with the NERV LOGO and an EVA-style "Launch" graphic, complete with a dedicated storage case, enhancing the overall experience!
