World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled a new product based on the film "The Mandalorian & Grogu" – the "Anzellan Droidsmith" 1:1 scale collectible figure, with a suggested retail price of US$240, estimated to ship in January 2027!
The Anzellan Droidsmith appeared in the first episode of The Mandalorian Season 3, "Chapter 17: The Apostate," as the most skilled droidsmith from the Outer Rim recruited by Nevarro to help repair most of the functions of the Mandalorian's former companion, IG-11, transforming it into IG-12, which can be piloted by Grogu!
This Anzellan Droidsmith figure stands approximately 27 cm tall, exquisitely recreating his appearance from the big screen in a 1:1 life-size scale! The head sculpt meticulously captures the weathered skin wrinkles and focused facial expression, with realistic gray fiber material specially used to present the texture of his eyebrows and beard, significantly enhancing the realism! The body is crafted from soft vinyl material and features 8 points of articulation, allowing collectors to flexibly adjust him into various distinctive poses as desired!
The accessories showcase the Anzellan's superb repair skills, accurately recreating the goggles on his head, and including a welding torch that can be magnetically attached to his right hand, as well as a flashlight that can also be held. The flashlight features an LED light-up function, which, when activated, simulates scenes of him performing precise repairs in dim environments, exuding professionalism! Furthermore, it can be displayed together with the simultaneously released Grogu to recreate various adorable interactions!
