American toy brand McFarlane Toys' Collector Edition series introduces its 60th release—the "Hellboy" 7-inch action figure, with a suggested retail price of US$34.99, expected to ship in late May 2026!
"Hellboy" is a classic work created by American comic artist Mike Mignola in 1993. The story tells of a small red demon accidentally summoned during a Nazi black magic experiment at the end of World War II. He was adopted by Allied theologian Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, who came to destroy the project, and named "Hellboy." As an adult, with the support of the United States, he joined the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.), becoming the strongest force against evil spirits and Nazi remnants.
This Hellboy action figure stands approximately 18 cm tall. The head sculpt delicately brings the comic's simple yet powerful design to life in three dimensions. The sculpting uses a geometric style to recreate his lean body and asymmetrical hand designs, complemented by a rough surface and black ink line accents to reproduce the original's line and shadow aesthetics! The costume features a specially tailored real fabric long coat, faithfully recreating Mike Mignola's iconic classic image with high quality!
Accessories include one right and three left interchangeable hands, his classic blaster pistol, and a dedicated display base. With 22 points of articulation throughout the body, various cool poses can be achieved! Furthermore, the Collector Edition also includes two collector cards printed with original artwork and character biographies. Coupled with the exquisite window box design, it allows for perfect display and collection even without opening the box!
