Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's new blind box figure series, Huggy Secret Good Smile, is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" – the "Huggy Secret Good Smile Bocchi the Rock! Blind Box Figures." The suggested retail price is 1,700 JPY per box, with an anticipated release in October 2026!
The story of "Bocchi the Rock!" follows the protagonist, Hitori "Bocchi" Gotoh, who constantly practices guitar with the dream of forming a band, but her social anxiety prevents her from achieving it. One day after school, by chance, she meets Nijika Ijichi, who is struggling to find a guitarist for her band, leading Bocchi to join "Kessoku Band." Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, the two begin their musical activities, and Bocchi gradually confronts her social anxiety.
"Huggy Good Smile" is GSC's brand new chibi figure series, featuring magnets in the head and articulated arms that can swing up and down, allowing collectors to pose them in various adorable ways! This Huggy Secret Good Smile Bocchi the Rock! blind box collection is sold in a blind box format and includes Hitori Gotoh, Nijika Ijichi, Ryo Yamada, Ikuyo Kita, Seika Ijichi, Ms. PA, Kikuri Hiroi, Futari Gotoh, and one secret variant, totaling nine different designs! The figures faithfully recreate the characters' iconic looks from the series in a charming chibi scale, and their distinct personalities are captured through different facial expressions – whether it's Ryo eating grass or Kikuri Hiroi's drunken expression, they're all absolutely fantastic!
