World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys, in celebration of the first anniversary of its Power Gate specialty store at Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong, has unveiled a new product inspired by the movie "Iron Man 2" – the "Mark IV (Haze Fractal Armor)" 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure. With a suggested retail price of HKD 2,680, this figure is limited to 400 sets in Hong Kong and 2,500 sets in select overseas markets. Pre-orders will be available through designated channels, with priority access for Hong Kong Toy Hunters and Secret Base members starting March 28, 2026, and public sales at designated Hong Kong specialty stores on March 29!
The "Mark IV" in "Iron Man 2" is the Iron Man suit Tony Stark wears in the opening scene, descending from a plane to the event venue. Based on the Mark III, it features slight modifications, boasting a more streamlined, minimalist, and lightweight design than its predecessor, resulting in a significant increase in flight speed. It also served as the prototype for the later Mark VI. Furthermore, according to Tony's own words and demonstration, the Mark IV is capable of filtering urine into drinking water.
This "Mark IV (Haze Fractal Armor)" 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure stands approximately 32.5 cm tall. It appears to repurpose the previously released Mark IV (Iridescent Geometric Armor) model with a new color scheme. Featuring 30 points of articulation, the figure reinterprets the Mark IV's streamlined design through geometric cutting. It utilizes exquisite electroplated iridescent paintwork, inspired by the purple, blue, and silver-white iridescent sheen reflected off the triangular aluminum panels of the Kai Tak Sports Park main stadium's exterior. This allows the sculpted armor lines to shine with a misty, ethereal glow under light! The helmet, chest, arc reactor, and palms also feature LED light-up functions, which, when illuminated, beautifully complement the iridescent paintwork. It's absolutely stunning!
