The classic fashion doll brand "Barbie" under renowned American toy company Mattel, and another major classic IP under Mattel, "Masters of the Universe," recently unveiled two powerfully collaborative new products on their official Instagram: "He-Man" and "Teela" dolls, themed after the new Masters of the Universe movie. Both are priced at US$55 and are expected to be released on April 25, 2026, US time!

Barbie is a fashion doll launched by Mattel in 1959. Over seventy years, it has undergone countless transformations, and today it is not only a symbol of fashion trends but also breaks societal stereotypes of female roles through hundreds of professions and identities such as doctors, presidents, and people with disabilities! The Masters of the Universe series is a toy line launched by Mattel in 1981, centered around the battles between the warriors of Eternia and the evil Skeletor and his minions. It is a childhood memory for many American toy enthusiasts of the 80s! The Barbie movie, released in 2023, received widespread acclaim, and the Masters of the Universe live-action film adaptation is also set to be released this June, which is highly anticipated!
Now, two powerful IPs under Mattel that have seemingly run in parallel for years are finally having a dream collaboration! From the currently released product images, it can be seen that these two dolls incorporate designs based on the new Masters of the Universe movie within the Barbie framework. Both He-Man and Teela feature muscular body sculpts. Their facial sculpts are crafted to resemble actors Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes. The characters' classic looks from the original series have been redesigned with added fashion elements, and their outfits are tailored from composite fabric materials. They also come with electroplated Power Sword and long sword accessories for display, showcasing an aesthetic atmosphere different from their original rugged image!
