Japanese toy company MEDICOS has announced its latest product based on the popular anime "Dorohedoro": the "Nikaido Devil Transformation in Progress Ver." 1/7 scale figure! The suggested retail price is 24,200 JPY, and it is finally set to be released in December 2026~
The manga series "Dorohedoro," created by manga artist Q Hayashida, is set in two coexisting worlds: "The Hole," inhabited by ordinary people, and the world where sorcerers live. Humans often become sacrifices for sorcerers practicing their magic, aspiring to become devils. The protagonist, Nikaido, runs a restaurant called "Hungry Bug," whose signature dish is perilla (shiso) gyoza; in addition to being an excellent cook, she is also a strong, agile, and extremely powerful sorcerer.
The MEDICOS Dorohedoro "Nikaido Devil Transformation in Progress Ver." 1/7 scale figure is based on the cover illustration of manga volume 16, vividly bringing to life Nikaido's gradually emerging form during her demonization process! Standing approximately 27 cm tall, under the strict supervision of author Q Hayashida, both the sculpting and painting faithfully reproduce the chaotic worldview of the original work. The demonized Nikaido's reddened eyes are filled with a frantic aura, and details such as the devil horns emerging from her blonde hair, the gyoza and gyoza spatula in her hand, and the "Hungry Bug" logo on her arm are meticulously carved. The unique attire from the early stages of her demonization is also boldly recreated!
