Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division, under its eco-friendly capsule toy series "CAPCHARA" which integrates the capsule shell into the toy itself, is set to release a new product featuring "The Powerpuff Girls"—the "Powerpuff Girls BIG CAPCHARA." The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled to be released in the fourth week of April 2026!

The animated series "The Powerpuff Girls," which aired on Warner Bros.' Cartoon Network from 1998 to 2005, was adapted from the short film "Whoopass Stew!" drawn by creator Craig McCracken while he was studying at CalArts. Created from "sugar, spice, and everything nice" with the accidental addition of "Chemical X," these little girls are surely a childhood memory for many toy enthusiasts!

This "Powerpuff Girls BIG CAPCHARA" series is based on the 2016 reboot animation. It features the four Powerpuff Girls from the show—Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and the reboot-exclusive character Bliss—as large-sized eco-friendly capsule toy figures, each approximately 13 cm tall. By opening the eco-friendly capsule shell, which is designed to resemble their round heads, and attaching the included body parts, you can recreate the cute sitting poses of the Powerpuff Girls. Displaying all four lined up is super cute!
