TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., following "Kurama," has once again announced the latest product from the "Yu Yu Hakusho" series for its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure line: "S.H.Figuarts Hiei." It will have a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2026.
The popular character Hiei (ひえい) from "Yu Yu Hakusho" is the son of an ice maiden born in the Land of Glaciers. Deemed a cursed child bringing disaster, he was abandoned by his clan at birth. To search for the Ice Tear Stone left by his birth mother Hina, he had a third eye, the "Jagan" (Evil Eye), implanted. He excels in swordsmanship and the "Jao Ensatsu Ken" (Evil King Incineration Fist) fighting style, which manipulates the black flames of the Demon World. Due to his overwhelming and uncontrollable power, he must bind his right arm and Jagan with bandages to seal the power of the Evil King Black Dragon.
The "S.H.Figuarts Hiei" action figure faithfully recreates Hiei's attire from the Dark Tournament arc when he fought Toguro, making its debut as an S.H.Figuarts action figure! Standing approximately 13 cm tall, it allows for the recreation of exciting and familiar battle scenes with a wealth of interchangeable parts. This includes a face sculpt revealing his third eye on his forehead after removing the bandages, and along with interchangeable hair and different face parts, you can combine them to create 15 different expressions! Additionally, it features an arm wrapped in the Black Dragon, a massive dragon head effect part for unleashing the Jao Ensatsu Kokuryuha (Evil King Incineration Black Dragon Wave), and a luxurious Jao Ensatsu Ken (Evil King Incineration Sword), thoroughly recreating his cool battle moments!
Furthermore, it includes an interchangeable face part that can be used with Yusuke (sold separately), and combined with Hiei's sleeping face part, you can enjoy recreating the amusing scene of Hiei sleeping after a battle.
