Japanese company KADOKAWA's figure brand "KDcolle" has announced a new product based on the popular anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" – the "Haruhi Suzumiya Anime 20th Anniversary Ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. It is priced at 22,990 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2027!
The "Haruhi Suzumiya series" is a light novel series created by Japanese author Nagaru Tanigawa starting in 2003, with illustrations by Noizi Ito, and published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko. Each volume of the novel is titled "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: ××", recounting the adventures of the protagonist Haruhi Suzumiya and the SOS Brigade. Recently, the theatrical film "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" had a limited re-release in Japan, and there are also rumors of a new anime adaptation. With frequent activities celebrating the anime's 20th anniversary, it's truly exciting!
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", KDcolle is releasing a 1/7 scale, approximately 20 cm tall, three-dimensional rendition of Haruhi Suzumiya in her classic school uniform. She is depicted in a lively pose, seated at a school desk with the Brigade Leader's nameplate, pointing forward. The sculpting faithfully recreates the curves of her thighs, the folds of her clothes, and her flowing hair. The vibrant armband and the metallic texture of the desk's corners are also exquisitely reproduced with detailed paintwork, perfectly showcasing her energetic charm!
This time, pre-orders placed on the KADO Store official website within Japan will also include a limited bonus featuring a "declaration expression" face part!
