Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Gashapon toy brand, GASHAPON, has announced its latest humorous Gashapon series, themed around Disney characters: "Disney Characters Mimicking Famous Scenes" (tentative translation, ディズニーキャラクター まねっこますこっと)! The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, with a total of 4 types, scheduled to be released in April 2026.
The first wave of the "Disney Characters Mimicking Famous Scenes" Gashapon features that iconic scene with sound, "Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba," where Rafiki lifts young Simba high – an impressive and stunning moment! In addition to Rafiki & Simba, the series also includes Baymax lifting mochi, Stitch & Scrump, and Winnie the Pooh & Piglet. When displayed together, they are full of humor! The slightly confused and helpless expressions of the characters being lifted are also incredibly cute~~
