Released by the Japanese toy company MEGAHOUSE, the "Realistic Model Series"—a diorama line specifically designed for use with 1/144 scale Mobile Suit Gundam models—has announced the latest product from Mobile Suit Gundam UC: "Nahel Argama Catapult Deck for 1/144 HG (Gundam UC ver.)", scheduled for release in August 2026.
The Nahel Argama was originally a flagship built by the AEUG in U.C. 0088 toward the end of the First Neo Zeon War as a successor to the Argama, which lacked the performance required for the conflict. It utilized the high-firepower Hyper MEGA Particle Cannon as its main battery and significantly improved Mobile Suit storage and deployment capabilities. Later, in U.C. 0096 of Mobile Suit Gundam UC, the still-active Nahel Argama underwent extensive modernization, including the addition of multiple turrets, performance enhancements, and increased Mobile Suit capacity.
The "RMS Nahel Argama Catapult Deck for 1/144 HG (Gundam UC ver.)" is a pre-painted semi-finished product that even beginners can easily assemble. Each part features detailed armor panel lines and mechanical structures, applied with the "MAX technique" to enhance light and shadow contrast for a heavy, realistic metallic feel. Additionally, it comes with dedicated water-slide decals for warning lines and text to further enhance its realism.
The product includes the Nahel Argama catapult deck main body, center extension deck, side extension decks, side deck connection parts, rotating turrets, and catapult shuttle bases. Crafted in a scale that complements 1/144 scale Gundam models, it can be reconfigured using interchangeable parts to represent the center, left, or right catapult decks. With a maximum length of up to 138 cm, using three sets allows you to fully recreate the ship's bow. The catapult base can be manually slid from the hangar to the end of the deck to recreate iconic launch sequences.
Distinguishing itself from the previous Gundam ZZ version, the accessories now include seven brand-new mini-figures of key characters: Banagher Links, Riddhe Marcenas, Mineva Lao Zabi, Marida Cruz, Suberoa Zinnerman, Full Frontal, and Angelo Sauper. These seven mini-figures come pre-painted, capturing the characteristic colors of their hair and outfits, allowing them to be displayed alongside the catapult deck diorama.
