The popular "Machiboke" (Waiting) toy series, released by Bandai's GASHAPON division, has announced its latest addition from the dark fantasy manga Berserk: "Berserk Characters Waiting - Falcon of the Millennium Empire Arc"! Pre-orders are now officially open at GASHAPON ONLINE, with shipping expected to begin in late August 2026. The price is set at 500 JPY per spin, with a total of five styles to collect.
Although the Berserk characters reimagined for the "Machiboke" series are created in chibi proportions, they feature incredible detail within their 3 to 4 cm size. From the intricate textures of Guts' armor to the ferocious lines of the Berserker Armor's helmet, the craftsmanship is stunning. The Skull Knight is especially impressive, boasting an overwhelming density of detail from head to toe—even the Sword of Actuation and his shield feature complex sculpting that is sure to satisfy fans. While Femto features a more monochromatic color palette, his muscular definition is sharply rendered with distinct layers.
However, nestled among these menacing characters is the adorable elf, Puck! He provides a perfect touch of levity to the overall dark and serious tone. This is truly an outstanding gashapon set—I absolutely have to pull the Skull Knight!
