● About SUNDAY BEAR
I'm Sunday Bear, and I live in Saitama Prefecture. I support myself by working part-time at a small supermarket near my apartment. On sunny Sunday mornings, I always wake up early and head to the garage to polish my beloved car—I'm absolutely smitten with it and love keeping it clean and shiny! I also enjoy going for leisurely drives around my neighborhood. When my neighbors see me drive by, they always wave and cheer enthusiastically, which never fails to bring a big smile to my face~ Just as I was blissfully raising my hands to the sky, the alarm clock by my bed suddenly went "Beep! Beep! Beep!"... I leaped out of bed, only to realize—was I just "driving my beloved car in a dream"?
● Rob Kidney × Chuku Kobo × Toy People "SUNDAY BEAR (TOY PEOPLE Ver.)"
This Toy People exclusive version of SUNDAY BEAR maintains designer Rob Kidney's impressive design characteristics. Beyond showcasing a captivating color palette with its high-contrast, vibrant tones, it also faithfully reproduces the asymmetrical, hand-drawn lines from the original illustration. The wobbly tires even feature a design that allows them to rotate; the slightly clumsy way the car rolls perfectly captures the world of SUNDAY BEAR—let the bear take you into the world of toys in his cool, beloved car~
In this Toy People exclusive colorway, TOY PEOPLE elements have been incorporated into the bear's hat and jacket, replacing the original "SB" with "TP"! The bear itself is a removable piece, allowing you to place him in the driver's seat or take him out of the car to play with. You can also display the car on its own, and there's even cute graffiti on the undercarriage~
Furthermore, the sticker sheet was newly drawn by Rob Kidney himself, giving you a full dose of TOY PEOPLE! This allows collectors to freely customize the car, which is super fun~ After applying the stickers, it becomes a one-of-a-kind car, unique to you and SUNDAY BEAR! Take a drive with Sunday Bear to your favorite places!
▼ It's so hard to decide whether to use the stickers or save them... but I also want to plaster them all over! It's times like these you really wish you could own multiples~
