The official Gunpla flagship store of Japan's Mobile Suit Gundam, GUNDAM BASE, has announced the upcoming release of the latest limited-edition item from the Mobile Suit Gundam anime: "Haro Soft Vinyl Figure [Green]." Sales are expected to begin across all store locations starting April 18, 2026.
The iconic mascot of the Gundam series, "Haro," is a small robot character designed by Kunio Okawara. Since the very first Mobile Suit Gundam, Haro has appeared frequently across various entries in the franchise. Its mechanical voice and round, rolling appearance are incredibly cute, and its functions often evolve to match the specific themes of each series. The classic Green Haro from the original Mobile Suit Gundam was a gift from the protagonist, Amuro Ray, to his childhood friend Fraw Bow, created by modifying a commercially available product (though early settings described it as an original robot he built himself).
The "Haro Soft Vinyl Figure [Green]" is a non-articulated figure made of soft vinyl. When compared to the "HGUC 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam," its total height stands at approximately 5–6 cm. It meticulously recreates Haro's signature green shell and red eyes, as well as its perfectly round form when the ears and limbs are not deployed.
