Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mecha-themed brand MECHA SMILE is releasing the latest product in its 'MODEROID' plastic model kit series, based on the mecha anime "Bang Bravern." The new item, 'MODEROID Superbia,' will have a suggested retail price of 9,600 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2026!
Superbia, the mechanical lifeform that commands the Death Dreadnought of Pride, wields the twin-bladed greatsword "Hien Raiga" as its primary weapon. Possessing the demeanor of a traditional Japanese warrior, it despises cowardly acts and yearns to find a powerful opponent for a fair and honorable duel, even if it means dying with honor as a warrior in defeat. It shares a strong, comradely bond with Lulu, who refers to it as "Uncle."
MECHA SMILE's 'MODEROID Superbia' stands approximately 170mm tall after assembly. It utilizes clear parts for areas such as the chest, shoulders, and legs of the armor, and combined with various pre-colored parts, pre-painted parts, and stickers, allows for the recreation of its cool and mysterious mecha design from the series simply by assembling it! Featuring a wide range of articulation and interchangeable hand parts, it can recreate various dynamic battle poses from the show, and even a cross-legged sitting pose can be vividly expressed! The wings on its back can be individually posed in open or closed states, and by swapping parts, you can enjoy recreating the chest capsule's insertion or ejection.
It includes "Hien Raiga" weapon parts, which can be displayed in either connected or separated states. The kit features an original toy gimmick conceived by director Masami Obari! The wing unit on its back can be detached and combined with the separately sold Bravern and Burst Bravern. (※Remove Bravern's back accessories when combining.) Additionally, it comes with a bonus accessory—the "Superbia Sword (Normal Color)" which can be attached to Burst Bravern.
