The official synopsis reveals that journalist Charlie's daughter, Katie, vanished eight years ago in the desert after being cursed by a mysterious woman. Now, after a plane carrying a sarcophagus crashes, the adult Katie is found inside the opened coffin. But Katie is no longer herself. Charlie discovers that his daughter's body hosts the soul of an ancient Egyptian mummy. As this malevolent spirit spreads to his other child, Charlie must perform a deadly ritual to save them, even if it means transforming into a monster himself.
The cast features Irish actor Jack Reynor, known for "Transformers: Age of Extinction," who plays the lead role of Charlie. He is joined by May Calamawy, the female lead from Marvel's "Moon Knight" series, among others.
