Casting rumors for the new "X-Men" film continue to surface, with a fresh name emerging today. According to prominent entertainment scooper MyTimeToShineHello, Marvel Studios is reportedly targeting Sydney Sweeney to join the MCU as the new "White Queen," Emma Frost.
The character previously appeared in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," played by Tahyna Tozzi MacManus, and in "X-Men: First Class," portrayed by January Jones.
Prior to the Sweeney news, acclaimed entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider recently reported that Marvel is also considering Irish rising star Peter Claffey from "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" for the role of Beast, and "Marty Supreme" actress Odessa A'zion for Rogue. However, the official casting announcements are still pending.
