FREEing (フリーイング), a Japanese toy company, recently announced a new product from its exquisite character figure series "B-Style," based on the popular naval battle mobile game "Azur Lane": the "Shinano: Dreamy Illusion" (信濃 幻夢の絡繰) 1/4 scale pre-painted figure! Scheduled for release in November 2026, with a suggested retail price of 44,000 JPY (tax included).
In "Azur Lane," Shinano is a UR-class armored aircraft carrier belonging to the Sakura Empire faction of the Crimson Axis. Her prototype is the Shinano aircraft carrier of the former Imperial Japanese Navy. Her default in-game illustration depicts a beautiful busty girl with a fox motif, wearing an elegant blue kimono. Her rigging appears to materialize from the ribbons of her clothing, and she is also equipped with three Japanese swords. Shinano's archaic and ethereal speech, combined with her character setting of often traversing between reality and dreams, exudes a strong sense of mystery.
This large-scale figure of Shinano, based on her "Dreamy Illusion" outfit, stands approximately 48 cm tall, with her length reaching 50 cm due to her overwhelmingly present nine-tails. Not only does it faithfully recreate her dark blue bunny girl outfit, fishnet stockings, and long hair that creates a fluffy and soft visual effect, but her pose also meticulously references her Live2D animation, complemented by a gentle smile that seems to embrace everything – truly stunning! Of course, Shinano's magnificent and proud bosom, and the incredibly alluring "biting flesh" effect of her fishnet stockings on her thighs, are absolutely exquisite! What's even more amazing is that the tails, recreated with fur materials, have a simple internal skeleton, allowing for various dynamic poses – truly luxurious!
