Warner Bros. Pictures announced a robust slate of upcoming film release dates at CinemaCon this morning, with a significant emphasis on horror titles. Leading the charge is "The Revenge of La Llorona," a sequel to "The Curse of La Llorona" (a film set in "The Conjuring" universe), slated for release on April 9, 2027.

Following that, "Final Destination 7" is scheduled for May 12, 2028. The seventh "Evil Dead" film, "Evil Dead Wrath," will hit theaters on April 7, 2028, while the sixth installment, "Evil Dead Burn," is set to kick off the franchise's return this year on July 24.

Director Zach Cregger, known for "Weapons," also has two new projects joining the studio's release calendar. One is "Gladys," a prequel to "Weapons," which will debut on September 8, 2028. The other is the original thriller "The Flood," set for an August 11, 2028 release, with just one month separating the two films. Notably, "The Flood" was initially developed for Netflix but has now apparently moved to Warner Bros. for further development.

Beyond the horror and thriller genres, a new adaptation of "Joan of Arc," helmed by "Elvis" director Baz Luhrmann, is scheduled for November 22, 2028. Additionally, Bradley Cooper's self-directed and starring prequel to "Ocean's Eleven" is slated for June 25, 2027.
