The highly popular 1/12 scale action figure series "One:12 Collective" from American toy manufacturer MEZCO TOYZ has launched a new product based on the DC Comics series "Superman: Red Son" – the "Superman" 1/12 scale action figure. With a suggested retail price of US$112, it is now available for pre-order on the MEZCO official website and is expected to be released in December 2026!
"Superman: Red Son" is a comic book written by Mark Millar in 2003 and published by DC's "Elseworlds". It explores the premise: "What if Superman had grown up in the Soviet Union?" and tells a parallel universe story where Superman landed on a Ukrainian collective farm, grew up in a socialist environment, and became a national hero loyal to the Soviet Union.
This "Red Son" Superman 1/12 scale action figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. It utilizes a dedicated body with over 28 points of articulation to faithfully recreate Superman's lean physique. The Superman suit, imbued with communist elements, is tailored from soft fabric, and the prominent hammer and sickle emblem on the chest is exquisitely reproduced! Accessories include two interchangeable head sculpts, four pairs of interchangeable hands, Brainiac, and a fabric Soviet flag. These can be combined with the exclusive display base, featuring "He's Watching You" visuals, to recreate various dynamic poses from the comic!
