Produced by Japan's PLEX Company and distributed by X-PLUS Company, the "Large Monster Series" of finished models, themed around heroes and monsters from Japanese tokusatsu works, has unveiled a new product based on Ultraman Ace—the "Ultraman Ace Renewal Ver." It will be released in both a Standard Edition and a Limited Edition, with reference prices of 23,650 JPY and 24,750 JPY respectively, and is scheduled for release in late July 2026!
This Ultraman Ace Renewal Ver. is a completely revamped re-release of the model originally launched in 2009. The main body stands approximately 22 cm tall, faithfully preserving the Ace design crafted by the renowned sculptor Seki Kenji, who has worked on numerous hero figures. Details such as the head sculpt, reminiscent of Seven's Eye Slugger, and the wrinkles and cracks in the suit are realistically reproduced. This time, interchangeable arms for a battle pose have also been added, allowing collectors to freely switch between two different classic poses!
The Limited Edition, sold at Shonen Ric and Tsuburaya Store, also features an LED light-up function. By activating the switch on the dedicated base, you can reproduce the glowing effects of the eyes and the Color Timer. Furthermore, by toggling the switch, you can recreate the tense state of the Color Timer flashing red!
