KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced the latest products in their everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series "Sousai Shojo Teien": "Extreme Sports Bike [Rui Saotome Ver.]" and "Extreme Sports Bike 2nd Color (Black)", slated for release in September 2026.
The Extreme Sports Bike is Kotobukiya's first non-combat heavy motorcycle plastic model kit. Designed by "F," who is responsible for numerous products in the "M.S.G" and "MegaloMaria" series, it is produced at a 1/10 scale with a total length of approximately 19.5 cm. It is highly compatible with the wide range of humanoid characters in Kotobukiya's product lineup, especially "Rui Saotome," the princely girl from the "Sousai Shojo Teien" series who is known for her excellent athletic ability and motorcycle riding skills.
The "Extreme Sports Bike [Rui Saotome Ver.]" features a blue body corresponding to Rui Saotome's image. In addition to its cool exterior silhouette, it boasts intricate mechanical details such as precise headlights, wiring, and suspension systems. The front wheel changes direction when the handlebars are turned, the tire parts can be manually rotated, and the rear of the bike also features a deployable footpeg mechanism.
Accessories include 3 types of gloved hand parts and a white helmet with a movable visor. The helmet part specifications are identical to those included with "Sousai Shojo Teien Rui Saotome [Momozakura High School · Athletic Uniform]," allowing it to be used by "Sousai Shojo Teien" characters other than those with special design specifications like "Aoi Gennai" and "Bukiko Kotobuki," enabling free swapping of expression parts.
The "Extreme Sports Bike 2nd Color (Black)" is a variant with different molded part colors, featuring a black body, black helmet, gray gloves, and a neck joint part in skin tone C, corresponding to the image of "Rui Saotome [Momozakura High School · Athletic Uniform] Dream Style Midnight Agate." This version is more compatible with Kotobukiya's black-themed characters.
