LEGO ✕ Yu-Gi-Oh! "It's time to Duel!" Building Challenge: The Final Five Await Your Vote! Check Out the Stunning Blue-Eyes White Dragon by Taiwanese Builder lego megaman

Fellow toy fans, do you remember the LEGO ✕ Yu-Gi-Oh! "It's time to Duel!" building challenge we introduced earlier? Well, it's now entering its final phase! LEGO Ideas recently announced the five creations that have made it to the final selection, and among them is an incredible piece by Taiwanese LEGO builder lego megaman (Brian)! Let's take a look.

About the "It's time to Duel!" Building Challenge

Entry Requirements:
1. Your build must not exceed 2000 pieces.
2. Your build must have a minimum of 400 pieces.
3. Your build must focus on Battle City or Duelist Kingdom tournament arcs from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime.

Beyond these conditions, LEGO did not place many restrictions on the content. Whether you wanted to build Duel Monsters, characters from the show, dueling scenes, or a creative display was entirely up to you.

Next, let's check out the five creations that have reached the final stage and are awaiting votes from LEGO fans worldwide!

Summoning Slifer the Sky Dragon at Battle City - REDUX by DarkAnimal

Duel Across the Millennia by Moccermommy

Blue-Eyes White Dragon – Duel Display by Brian b59124

The Heart of the Cards - Exodia by Step_on_a_Brick

Millennium Puzzle: Duel of Eternal Rivals by Brick_flex

Among these five creations, three feature the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, clearly demonstrating its status as the most classic Duel Monster deeply rooted in the hearts of fans. Other elements include Yugi's Egyptian God Card "Slifer the Sky Dragon," the nigh-invincible "Exodia the Forbidden One" (when all five pieces are assembled), Yugi's most trusted Duel Monster "Dark Magician," the Millennium Puzzle, Duel Disks, and the fated duel in ancient Egypt. I personally love the Slifer the Sky Dragon and Duel Disk combination built by DarkAnimal. The overall design is exceptionally well-executed; the sharp lines of the Duel Disk and the part selection and assembly for Slifer the Sky Dragon are all incredibly impressive.

▼ Ooh, and there's a little Easter egg!

Next up is the Blue-Eyes White Dragon designed by Taiwanese builder lego megaman! The moment I saw it, I was immediately stunned by his interpretation of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon's form. From the head made with curved parts, the arch of the neck and torso, to the muscular shape of the limbs, everything exudes a clean and masterful building technique. The base is also presented in a sleek style, featuring a nameplate, a part representing its 3000 Attack Points, and the adjacent Blue-Eyes White Dragon stone tablet is also very interesting! If this were to become an official product, I'd be so excited to see how LEGO would render the texture on that stone tablet!

The voting period for the final five entries in the "It's time to Duel!" building challenge ends on April 28, 2026. If you also like the work by Taiwanese builder lego megaman, be sure to go and give him your vote!
