PLEX Co., Ltd. (株式会社プレックス) of Japan recently announced the latest product in their "Mini Sofubi Chronicle" (ミニソフビクロニクル) monster sofubi blind box series: the "Godzilla Mini Sofubi Chronicle (Retro Color Collection)" (tentative translation)! It will be available starting April 22, 2026, at Hakaba Gallery (Nakano store) and Hakaba Gallery ONLINE STORE. The suggested retail price is 550 JPY (tax included) per box, with a total of 12 different styles to collect.
This series reinterprets classic Godzilla series monsters with a super-cute, chibi-style proportion at a height of 4 cm! And just like the previously released ">Ultraman themed works, these feature retro colors reminiscent of Showa-era BULLMARK sofubi, allowing you to relive the emotion of nostalgia intertwined with vibrant hues. The collection includes six characters: "Godzilla," "King Ghidorah," "Anguirus," "Hedorah," "Megalon," and "Gigan," with each character having two distinct color schemes. Although they are mini, palm-sized figures, the color gradients are incredibly detailed, and the selection of high-contrast color combinations is meticulously executed. Acquiring even one is sure to bring immense joy!
