BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest addition to its "SO-DO CHRONICLE" Kamen Rider Shokugan series. This new item, the "Kamen Rider G6 Set," is inspired by the 25th-anniversary movie "AGITΩ - Psychic War," a film celebrating "Kamen Rider Agito," and is scheduled for release in November 2026.
The "G-Series" special reinforced armored suits, which debuted in "Kamen Rider Agito," were developed jointly by Japanese corporations and the Metropolitan Police Department as weapons against unidentified lifeforms. In 2001, the brilliant mechanical engineering doctor Sumiko Ozawa joined the design team for "Kamen Rider G3," achieving outstanding combat results against the Unknown and laying the foundation for the subsequent "G-Series."
Fast forward to 2026, the Metropolitan Police Department has already deployed the sixth-generation "Kamen Rider G6" into active combat. It is utilized by Officer Ruriko Aoi of the Special Armed Unit for Unidentified Lifeform Countermeasures. The overall armor design evolves from the G4, featuring the "GH-09 Cerberus" twin-gun armament and a deployable flight unit on its back.
The "SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider G6 Set" faithfully recreates the suit's distinctive aqua blue coloring and features new parts to capture its unique body sculpt, distinct from the G3-X. Some details on the armor and belt will require sticker application for color accuracy. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, the figure boasts flexible articulation, allowing it to strike dynamic combat poses with various interchangeable hand parts and the "GH-09 Cerberus" weapon.
Furthermore, by swapping out parts, the massive twin wings of the back-mounted flight unit can be deployed. When fully extended, the unit spans an impressive 16.8 cm, allowing the figure to be displayed in flight poses using the included dedicated display stand.
