Renowned Japanese toy company stasto (STAND STONES) is once again collaborating with Japanese sculptor Montomi on their super cute Animal Attraction series. Their latest release, the "Floating Out! Animal Spirit Walk" capsule toy collection, features five adorable designs, each priced at 300 JPY (MSRP), and is slated for an August 2026 launch.
Popular animal sculptor Montomi (@shigemochi_kun) has been interested in handmade art with animal and nature themes since childhood. Their charming and adorable style, especially designs featuring dogs reluctant to go home after a walk, led to their "Walk Series" becoming a massive hit on social media, sparking viral discussions and subsequently being commercialized.
While still themed around going for a walk, this time, it's only the soul that's heading out! The "Floating Out! Animal Spirit Walk" capsule toy series features a plump Seal, a short-legged Dachshund, a Corgi, an adorable Hamster, and a Duckling. Each figure depicts the animal lying on its back in a deep sleep, but a translucent spirit is seen floating out from its belly! Standing approximately 5 cm tall, the surprised expression of the spirit creates a strong contrast with the sleeping body, making every design hilariously cute. Just make sure your spirit comes back after its stroll!
