F:NEX, Furyu's high-quality character brand, has announced the latest addition to their NIJISANJI Virtual LIVER lineup: the "Shiori Ruri 1/7 Scale Figure," slated for release in January 2027.
Debuting in November 2023, NIJISANJI Virtual LIVER "Shiori Ruri" is a dog patrol officer who upholds peace in the name of justice. Despite hailing from a prestigious family, she possesses a remarkably free-spirited personality. While she exhibits a gentle and refined demeanor befitting a young lady, she also reveals her passionate otaku side when discussing specific topics. Ruri is also a highly knowledgeable literary enthusiast, deeply fond of Japanese classical literature. She occasionally hosts a "Literature Classroom" program and has even authored the book "Yuruyuru Koten Kyoushitsu ~Otaku wa Jisshitsu, Heian Kizoku~" (Relaxed Classical Literature Classroom ~Otaku are Essentially Heian Nobles~), which conveys the charm of classical literature through accessible language, adorable illustrations, and manga that modern audiences can easily understand.
The "Shiori Ruri 1/7 Scale Figure" is meticulously crafted based on the original illustration by Kagami Ichigo. Standing approximately 25 cm tall, the figure faithfully recreates the intricate details of her full police uniform. Through precise sculpting and clever part separation, elements like her chest ID badge, numerous black belts with metallic buckles, dog paw-shaped shoe soles, and the elegant, slender lines of her legs are all brought to life. The delicate paint application captures the rich colors of her attire, the gradient hues of her hair tips, and even the glossy plastic texture of the megaphone she holds. Furthermore, the inner lining of her cape features a three-dimensional quilted pattern with a beautiful blue gradient, allowing collectors to appreciate costume details that are often hard to discern during her regular streams.
