"Is the Order a Rabbit?" Chino Plafia Model Kit Revealed: Rabbit House Uniform and Multiple Expressions Included!

Japanese model brand PLUM has announced the latest addition to its "Plafia" character model kit series: Chino from the popular four-panel manga "Is the Order a Rabbit?". This new kit is slated for release in July 2026.

Chino Kafu, one of the main protagonists, is a calm and reserved 14-year-old girl who typically maintains a poker face. Having helped her father run the family's traditional coffee shop, "Rabbit House," since childhood, Chino's demeanor is quite mature. While she occasionally shows a childish side, she dislikes being treated like a child. When the extremely cheerful Cocoa Hoto comes to stay at her home, Chino often responds to her enthusiasm with indifference. However, as they spend more time together, their relationship blossoms into a sisterly bond.

The "Plafia Chino" model kit faithfully recreates her adorable appearance in the Rabbit House uniform using multiple pre-colored parts. Builders can achieve a highly accurate representation of her in-anime look and colors straight out of the box, with intricate details precisely reproduced. Once assembled, the figure stands approximately 13.5 cm tall and features 25 points of articulation. Furthermore, the skirt parts offer two interchangeable options: one for standing poses and another for sitting poses.

The kit includes two pre-printed face parts: a "standard expression" and a "troubled expression." Additionally, a water-slide decal sheet and blank face parts are provided, allowing collectors to create a variety of custom expressions. An auxiliary part with a ruler is also included to help precisely position and apply the water-slide decals, making the process much easier.

The kit also comes with Tippy, the Angora rabbit who is Chino's grandfather transformed. Two versions of Tippy are included: a standard pose and a version designed to sit on Chino's head, allowing for adorable displays of Chino holding Tippy or having him perched atop her. Tippy himself comes with stickers to recreate various expressions such as shy, crying, calm, and flustered.

Furthermore, a wealth of additional accessories are included, such as multiple interchangeable hand parts, a cup and saucer, a coffee pot, a coffee cup, a teaspoon, and a serving tray. These allow fans to recreate Chino's various cute poses and scenes of her serving customers during her work at the cafe!
