Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company has announced its latest product from the RPG "Trails" series: the "Rixia Mao 1/7 Scale Figure", scheduled for release in February 2027.
The fan-favorite character Rixia Mao first appeared in 2010's "Trails from Zero". At just 17 years old, she was publicly known as a kind and exceptionally talented new dancer for the "Arc en Ciel" theatrical troupe. However, her true identity is that of the legendary assassin "Yin" from the Calvard Republic, who had a brief partnership with the local crime syndicate, Heiyue. Trained in various martial arts and assassination techniques since childhood, she possesses the ability to alter her physique and aura using qi, and her signature weapon is an enormous greatsword. During her time in the Crossbell State, she formed deep bonds with her troupe and the members of the Special Support Section, leading to a painful internal struggle between her two identities.
The "Rixia Mao 1/7 Scale Figure" is based on her assassin attire as "Yin". The sculpt meticulously captures Rixia's impressive, curvaceous figure and the distinct textures of the fabric, ropes, leather, and armor. The wrinkles where the fabric meets her skin are rendered with exceptional detail, and the hem of her garment at the back is shown pressing deeply into her hips. At the same time, Rixia's gentle smile, a dynamic, dance-like pose, and the flowing motion of her costume also showcase her identity as a performer, allowing the figure to express both facets of her character.
