World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled a new product based on the film "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith" – the "Anakin Skywalker (Concept Art) Artisan Edition" 1/6th scale collectible figure. Priced at HKD 2,580, this Artisan Edition is limited to 500 sets in Hong Kong (overseas availability to be announced) and will be exclusively available for pre-order at the "Star Wars: Grogu's Galactic Adventure" event held at the 2nd-floor atrium of AIRSIDE, Kai Tak, Hong Kong!
This Anakin Skywalker (Concept Art) figure is based on the concept art created by renowned concept artist Iain McCaig during the film's production. The dark, reddish-purple robes subtly hint at his fated descent into the dark side, showcasing a powerful, sinister aura distinct from his on-screen appearance!
The figure stands approximately 31 cm tall, featuring a meticulously sculpted headsculpt that faithfully captures the likeness of actor Hayden Christensen. His enraged expression after falling to the dark side is intricately reproduced, complete with an independent rolling eyeball mechanism for adjustable gaze. It also includes interchangeable deep blue eyes and corrupted red eyes, offering more display options! Furthermore, this Artisan Edition boasts exquisite rooted hair craftsmanship, utilizing premium wool material to recreate Anakin's long, curly hair, significantly enhancing its realism!
The costume features an all-black Jedi tunic crafted from a combination of materials like leather and elastic fabric.
